Marc had the pleasure of growing up with a very talented family who merely passed on the entertainment bug off to him. His grandfather was a sculptor, his grandmother a concert pianist and his mother a dancer / singer. It was no shock that his veins would be running with artistic blood. Marc's family hails from the scenic city of Vienna where they escaped to the US in 1939 and began a new life. The first Broadway musical he saw was "Fiddler the Roof" with his class then with his mother to see "Two by Two" which featured Danny Kaye. But it wasn't until he saw "Man of La Mancha" was when he realized that acting would be his path.

"My mother joked that it was in my DNA, but as I did research on my grandfather for a biography I'm working on, I found there were many artists and musicians in my ancestry."

Marc would soon enroll and study at Pace University where he became the protégé for the department head, Joseph Miranne. He would volunteer his skills to the US Naval Intelligence then return to continue his studies at Pace. While studying at Pace he became close with the brother of Gene Kelly, Fred Kelly who encouraged Marc to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and H. B. Studios. Fred was a director and choreographer at the time and Fred would bring Marc into the first professional theatrical club called The Lambs. It was only a matter of time until Marc was acting, singing, writing, directing and managing productions. He would serve as the 35th Shepherd of The Lambs.

"The Lambs is America's oldest professional theatrical organization found ed in NYC in 1874. It's a social club that was more than just a club. There I got to perform, direct, act, sing … and got to know some amazing people who became my chorus of encouragement. Eventually I rose into leadership, serving in every capacity and eventually as its Shepherd (president) for 10 years. I recently stepped down to focus on my projects. The Club's council voted to title me "Shepherd Emeritus", the third such honor given in 150 years".

It should be noted that Marc is also a member of the NY Board of SAG-AFTRA and held a seat on the Council of the Episcopal Actors Guild, a charity for actors. In 1990, he was honored to receive the Joseph C. Reilly Award for his service. When it came to working on a stage or in front of a camera Marc admitted that he enjoys both but with theatre there is instant satisfaction from the audience where in film you don't experience that. But with films he points out lives on forever and your viewers can enjoy it repeatedly.

Marc would begin his road in acting with his work on the soap opera "All My Children" and the TV show "Rituals". One of his most memorable experiences in film was on the set of "Family Business" working with such talents like Sidney Lumet, Matthew Broderick, Dustin Hoffman and Sean Connery. He learned a lot when working as a stand-in/photo double for Sean Penn on the Woody Allen project "Sweet & Lowdown". Woody taught him that simplicity can be effective and beautiful, while focusing on the story and performances. He also appeared in films like "Mortal Thoughts", "Big", "The Believer" and "Bullets Over Broadway"

While he was working on the film "Family Business" he began creating his own visions by scribbling down ideas. This is when began working on his own projects with the urging of Matthew Broderick and Dustin Hoffman. He would eventually partner up with Joe Cirillo and created his own company Oroloro Entertainment. Since then, he has worked on a few projects, one of them being "Megaball$ which is a comedy about computer geeks, the lottery and the Mob and a romantic comedy titled "Comeback in Vienna" with the rojects have received accolades from international festivals. "Comeback in Vienna" alone has won forty script awards. The later project was inspired by a play Marc directed twenty years ago called "Hot Properties", written by Richard Wolf for Ginger Rodgers. Richard had consented to Marc directing four of his plays.

"Comeback in Vienna” was optioned by a producer in Vienna, who would like Marc to direct it. There is growing interest by well-known award-winning actresses who requested to read the screenplay. Also, the Vienna Johann Strauss Orchestra has offered their entire library of over a thousand recordings for the project. They are currently working on the packaging and financing. In addition, Marc is also researching and working on a bio on his grandfather and his brother, Florian (they were rival sculptors) entitled "Brothers in Stone".

Marc's goal presently is to move "Comeback in Vienna" into production. They already have the locations, a team placed in Vienna and the actors showing interest. Vienna is calling, Vienna is waiting. He is also always tweaking "Megaball$". With all that artistic DNA flowing it will only be a matter of time before both these projects blow up.
