English native Deshai Williams has made it her business to "wow" audiences from London to LA with her showcasing of new talent in the music and fashion world. The show which goes by the title The Fashion & Music Conference, has proven to be a one stop shop to take in new designs and be entertained by worldwide musicians. The recent show that took place on September 12 ended up being a standing room only show.
Designers from all over the States presented their work on the runway. The fusion of music and fashion is a unique way to present both types of disciplines. This would be the third time she has hosted one of these shows in NY. All her shows have been televised on Amazon Fire TV and Vimeo. The amount of viewership garnered via these platforms is over 50 thousand and growing.
According to Deshai recently she has noticed that audiences are looking
for more color and vibrancy in fashion. She believes since the pandemic
folks want to see more positive work that sheds a positive light on things.
Gracing the runway were designers The Modern Alien, Iron Togs, The Kendi
Brand, Roc The Designer, Elu by Elon, Kadeidra Denisee, and Papillon Design.
Music was presented by Hip Hop artist Amen Ra.

"The shows have improved every time and the talent has grown
in more creative ways, especially in expressing their style and progression," said Deshai.
This was a step out of the ordinary fashion show where all types of artists have
an opportunity to present their designs. The addition of musical performances only
enhances the allure of it all. Deshai is always looking to up the ante on her next
show and present newer styles and innovative ways for designers to grace the runway.
